| THE OMEGA SYNDROME is a Computer Role Playing Game set in a world where secret government organizations have the ultimate authority. You are Agent Max Power, servant of MJ-12, a secret government organization who's mission is to fight a secret war with an alien race called the Reptoids.
You have been ordered to carry out MJ-12's plans many times in the past. However this time it is different. MJ-12 has gone too far and many of its operatives are dead or missing.
MJ-12 has a secret underground laboratory hidden near a small coastal town called Idyll. The laboratory was designed to study the technology of the Reptoids and all was proceeding according to plan until two months ago. Without warning all communications with the lab were cut off and several hours after that, Idyll erupted in a full-scale riot. It is still unsafe to enter the area and all attempts to take the town by force have ended in disaster. Now MJ-12 is sending you, their most experienced agent, to take charge of the situation. Your orders are simple: Accompany a team of Blue Berets into the area and destroy the secret laboratory.
